Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Bagdogra – Transfer to Darjeeling

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport (the nearest airport to Darjeeling).
From Bagdogra, take a scenic 3-4 hours drive to Darjeeling.
Upon arrival in Darjeeling, check in to your hotel and relax.
In the evening, visit the Batasia Loop, a railway loop offering stunning views of Darjeeling and the surrounding mountains.
Visit the Peace Pagoda and Japanese Temple for a peaceful and spiritual experience.
Stroll along Mall Road and enjoy the local markets.
Overnight in Darjeeling.

Early morning visit to Tiger Hill for a mesmerizing sunrise over the Kanchenjunga mountain range.After sunrise, visit the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, home to rare species like snow leopards, red pandas, and Himalayan wolves.Explore the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Tenzing Rock, which are key spots for mountaineering history.Take a ride on the famous Toy Train, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visit the Darjeeling Ropeway for panoramic views of Darjeeling and the valley below.
Overnight in Darjeeling.
After breakfast, embark on a drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim (approximately 4-5 hours by road).Upon arrival in Gangtok, check-in to your hotel and relax.
Visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, which has an impressive collection of Tibetan culture artifacts.Explore the Rumtek Monastery, an important Buddhist monastery, known for its architecture and tranquil setting.In the evening, visit MG Marg, a popular shopping area in Gangtok.Overnight in Gangtok.
After breakfast, head to Tsomgo Lake, located at a high altitude of 12,400 feet, surrounded by snow-capped mountains.Visit Baba Mandir, dedicated to a soldier who sacrificed his life for the country, located near Tsomgo Lake.Enjoy the serenity and scenic views of the lake and surrounding areas.Return to Gangtok and relax in the evening, or explore more local markets for souvenirs.Overnight in Gangtok.
Post breakfast, drive to Pelling (approximately 4-5 hours by road), a small town that offers stunning views of the Kanchenjunga Range.Visit Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest and most important monasteries in Sikkim.Explore the Rabdentse Ruins, the historical site of the ancient capital of Sikkim, which provides magnificent views of the Kanchenjunga mountains.
Spend the evening relaxing or exploring the peaceful town of Pelling.
Overnight in Pelling.
After breakfast, drive to Yuksom, known as the starting point for treks to Kanchenjunga Base Camp (about 2 hours by road).Visit Dubdi Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim, and Tashiding Monastery, which holds great religious significance.Enjoy the scenic views of the mountains and explore the charming surroundings of Yuksom.
Return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive back to Bagdogra (approximately 4-5 hours by road) for your return flight to your next destination.Depending on your departure time, you may have the opportunity to explore local markets in Siliguri or take a last stroll around Gangtok.Depart from Bagdogra and conclude your Sikkim and Darjeeling Heritage Tour.
